𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗯𝗶𝗼𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀

Shipsonic is visiting several vessels in Portugal to understand their engine cooling systems, under the great guidance of Pedro Sousa de Jesus. 

We most often install on box-coolers, but the fouling issues on vessels using plate coolers are just as interesting and definitely treatable with the Shipsonic ultrasonic anti-fouling systems.

The past few days we have seen short-sea container vessels, bulk carriers and other vessels, each with their fouling issues. The mussel is typically the culprit.

Strainers, clogged crossover pipes, blocked water intake pipes, leaking valves. We have seen many designs, a range of experiences but best of all, we have had fantastic discussions.
