Anyone in my Lusophone network interested in a very interactive webinar full of discussions on what biofouling we can and cannot prevent? Please feel free to sign up for this webinar: https://lnkd.in/efxnKnEx . It is for free and after registering you will receive the link to join.

Jan Visser comes with years of hands-on and brains-on experience in the maritime sector. He knows everybody, but more importantly he knows exactly what is going on at ship yards, on ships, in companies and how we can contribute to them. Very warm welcome to you, Jan. We know Shipsonic will make big steps with you.

𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗜𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮 (Portugal and Spain) and the 𝗙𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀
Dear Contacts, Shipsonic is pleased to announce that we have a great addition to our global support and sales network: Pedro Sousa de Jesus joined us to help us build our customers in Portugal and Spain and to deepen our reach into the fisheries sector. Pedro is a creative and energetic addition to our team with many new ways of working. Pedro has decades of experience in monitoring fisheries, research, including environmental friendly research and some significant experience

Shipsonic attended the FOWT 2026 as part of Maritime & Offshore NL stand. We learned: • The floating wind energy is still in its early stage, with few installations operational and still a lot of design, development and testing ongoing. • Some of the floaters are built in concrete (making them unsuitable for our ultrasonic anti-fouling) but the majority continues to be built in metal. • There are, however, numerous other aspects of the floating wind where fouling is a clea

WISTA The Netherlands 31st March: a grand day with a mini conference. great presentations and discussions, excellent organisation and all these wonderful new people to meet and known people to catch up with. I learned about the concept 'Futures Literacy' - imagine different futures and get to work to reach the ones you like. And so much more. WISTA is the best. Thank you all the speakers, Federica Pace, Cynthia Everduin, and and all the other ones who organized this. Our wond

Last week our demo model transducer on curved surfaces (a pipe) with specific radius went with Siv Støve Syversen to Asia Pacific Maritime (APM) expo 2026. Many visitors from a range of Asian countries and far beyond had a chance to enjoy the sophisticated mounting and beautifully executed tailored radius. Siv of Multi Solutions AS shared about Shipsonic alongside their core business of environmentally friendly cleaning of box-coolers, plate coolers and many other vessel part

Shipsonic has developed a wonderful demo model showing how our transducers can be placed on curved surfaces, how our patent-protected mounting works and looks. This demo we have started to send to each of our agents, who in their turn take it to trade shows, conferences, and meetings with clients. Here are our first photos, me picking up the 'babies' from Dethon and at the FOWT Conference in Montpellier together with Eric C. Next location will be Singapore, watch this space.

Actietafel Maritiem - Congres Circulair Ondernemen

Shipsonic spent an excellent week with GET STC LTD, its Exclusive Representatives in Greece. It was a fully packed programme, meeting with GET's distinguished clients, each of them taking ample time to hear about ultra sound, our research and the innovations we offer. While Greece has relatively fewer box-coolers, there are ample opportunities for applying Shipsonic's ultra-sonic anti-fouling on bow-thruster tunnels, on strainers and water-intake pipes, etc. We are particular

Shipsonic is excited to be part of FOWT 2026, 24-26 March. This huge conference on floating offshore wind is giving us many interesting discussions, meeting with designers of floaters, people sharing how mooring cables suffer from fouling, and fouling affecting monitoring buoys – just to name a few. We notice that most of the participants had never heard of ultrasonic anti-fouling and it takes us a bit of time to properly explain the workings and the advantages. Floating offs

Exploring Offshore Innovation at the Offshore Test Site in Scheveningen
It was great to attend the Offshore Test Site even at Campusatsea in Scheveningen last Tuesday. Shipsonic got to meet such interesting innovative offshore energy companies, many of which showed a keen interest in our ultrasonic anti-fouling solution. After all, whether you use wave energy, floating solar, tidal or ocean current energy, one way or another you will face marine growth. While many just accept the growth, taking the weight and drag into account in their design, th

Box coolers can efficiently cool engines on vessels using only a limited space. But one drawback is that box coolers suffer heavily from fouling and can normally not be cleaned without docking the vessel. Standard box-cooler protection against fouling is copper based. See Shipsonic earlier post introducing a comparative study between these copper based systems and our ultrasonic system. This comparison and numerous research projects have resulted in Shipsonic now being rec

In this brochure Shipsonic gives a cost comparison between USAF (ultrasonic anti-fouling) and ICAF (impressed current anti-fouling). USAF is often perceived as more costly. However, if you consider the life-time of Shipsonic’s USAF systems, they work out much more economical. Of course, there are many other reasons to prefer Shipsonic’s USAF: no through hull wiring, no risk of galvanic corrosion. And last but not least; USAF is poison free and forgoes substantial pollution

Shipsonic attended the Ambassadors' Conference
Shipsonic was invited for the 'Business Day of the Ambassadors' Conference'. Yearly all Dutch ambassadors and consuls meet several days in The Netherlands. On 3rd February Dutch businesses who are successfully exporting can meet the diplomats from their countries where they would like to expand to. Shipsonic discussed opportunities in Brazil, Colombia, India, Hong Kong, Poland, Bulgaria, Denmark and Norway. We got important tips, specific economic (and maritime) experts in t

Coming soon - a video how Dethon takes care of our assembly and packing process
Dethon assembles Shipsonic 's fantastic ultrasonic anti-fouling systems. Our colleague Theresa went to shoot videos of the assembly work. It was an impeccable process, very concentrated people and evidence of the high quality of our products.
