Shipsonic has developed a wonderful demo model showing how our transducers can be placed on curved surfaces, how our patent-protected mounting works and looks. The ‘Journal of Marine Science and Engineering’, a renowned scientific publication, has accepted the article "Ultrasonic Treatment Suppresses Biofilm-Mediated Larval Settlement of Mussels: A Pilot Study".

Box coolers can efficiently cool engines on vessels using only a limited space. But one drawback is that box coolers suffer heavily from fouling and can normally not be cleaned without docking the vessel. Standard box-cooler protection against fouling is copper based. In this brochure  Shipsonic  gives a cost comparison between USAF (ultrasonic anti-fouling) and ICAF (impressed current anti-fouling). USAF is often perceived as more costly. However, if you consider the life-time of Shipsonic’s USAF systems, they work out much more economical.
