Last week Chiel visited a certain vessel in Norway to replace one transducer (got damaged when changing the swing set box-coolers), and measuring the SPL : sound pressure level for each of the transducers. On the video an observant person can see him working in one of the confined spaces where the box-coolers are. This is a steel holder that fits the microphone of the UltraTester precisely and is filled with a special liquid. The strong magnet at the bottom of the holder pulls it against the surface to be tested, even in hard-to-reach places.
