For designing an offer for a specific vessel, we need to know the acoustics of the set of structures that our client needs protecting. We need to have the technical drawings of pipe-work, the material, the thicking of the walls, the lining or coating, etc. etc. Even then, we still need to verify whether our acoustics assessment works in reality and whether all parts properly vibrate. We can attach the transducers on a trial basis and move them around a bit and test the optimal spacing and whether we have planned sufficient converters. 

Like producing a good guitar or violin, even the best makers don't know how their instrument exactly works out in practice - and a bit of shaving may be needed.
