𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘆 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 - 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝟭𝟮𝟮 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸!

A quick phone call on Wednesday, from Rohde Nielsen. We are dry docking now, in Vlissingen. We are unhappy with the ICAF performance. Can you deliver your system by next Wednesday? You are so nearby.

Well, we actually were in Delfzijl at that moment, diagonally the other end of The Netherlands. We cancelled our meetings. We drove home. The client meanwhile sent all the technical drawings and specifications. Same night Rohde Nielsen received a quote for their good vessel, the 𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙙𝙜𝙚𝙧 𝙉𝙟𝙤𝙧𝙙 𝙍. Next morning, Thursday, Chiel de Wit visited the Superintendent. After half an hour the quote was accepted, and the purchase order issued. 

Dethon immediately started configuring the control units, packing the transducers, measuring the cables, counting the connectors... Five control units were readied that same Thursday, delivered on Friday. On Friday Shipsonic drew the locations for the transducers on each box-cooler, instructed the electrician about the cabling, explained to the welder which rings to weld where. They worked through the weekend. On Monday all was ready for installing the transducers. On Tuesday we finishing programming and checking all control units. On Wednesday they didn't sail yet, slight delay, and we could do some final touches. 

What an incredible vessel. What a great crew. How excellent to work with the shipyard's team, especially the electrician and welding teams. Thank you all for enabling Shipsonic to deliver a sizeable project in merely a week.
