BOX-COOLERS - Shipsonic is in the middle of an intense box-cooler debate. A few large shipping companies are moving away from box-coolers. Either they revert to plate-coolers, or they switch to keel coolers. Why are some in the maritime industry unhappy with box-coolers? There are so many advantages to box-coolers, how can the disadvantages make them unattractive to some? That is because of the fouling problems and the problems with the going solutions.
