Well, it is by now no secret: glue and the sea environment are not a good match. Even the sturdiest, two-component, costly glues have a limited working life in a vessel. To boot, the constant high Sound Pressure Level is also a huge challenge for the glue.
Several of our installations took place on vessels where we needed to remove our friends' systems, with transducers hanging loose. Many clients choose us because we weld a ring on which our transducers are screwed, with torque.
