Box coolers can efficiently cool engines on vessels using only a limited space.

But one drawback is that box coolers suffer heavily from fouling and can normally not be cleaned without docking the vessel. Standard box-cooler protection against fouling is copper based. Seeย Shipsonicย earlier post introducing a comparative study between these copper based systems and our ultrasonic system.ย

This comparison and numerous research projects have resulted in Shipsonic now being recognised as the specialist in environmentally neutral box-cooler protection.

Drawing from this research, we now have a detailed brochure available. Please let us know if you want to receive this. Send us a direct message in LinkedIn (Anne Marie van Swinderenย orย Chiel de Wit)ย or send an email.
