𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲?

Shipsonic competes well with ultrasonic anti-fouling competitors (𝗨𝗦𝗔𝗙 for the in-crowd). We reckon we have 5 important features the competitors lack. Now, I am only going to share you one of these – you don’t want to give too many ideas.

Yesterday, Shipsonic's team visited Dethon (who assemble our units). It was wonderful to see many and many of our competitive advantages standing ready for packing.There they were shining, with sharp edges: our 𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺-𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘂𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀.

You can see on the photos the exact curve of both the welding ring and the transducer base. We order these on a case by case basis from a specialized workshop. We need them for any project with installation on curved surfaces : pipes, bow-thruster tunnels, dolphin noses…. We get a lot of orders for these.

Now 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 for the audience :

1. Why are most of the radius transducers having the black cover with indentation (circled in one of the photographs)

2. What information do we need from the customer to order these radius transducers to be exactly fitting?
