Microphone holder for sound pressure meter
This is a steel holder that fits the microphone of the UltraTester precisely and is filled with a special liquid. The strong magnet at the bottom of the holder pulls it against the surface to be tested, even in hard-to-reach places. This provides a very accurate and reliable reading of the sound pressure level (SPL), valuable information for the further development of our product.

Wageningen University & Research confirms effectiveness of Shipsonic ultrasonic antifouling
In a carefully designed research, Jacob J. Capelle (Wageningen University & Research) and Marco Dubbeldam (Stichting Zeeschelp) investigated how ultrasonic vibration influences the settlement of mussel larvae.

Test bench for all types of antifouling
Together with Kelvion, Shipsonic has developed test equipment that can measure the actual capacity of a cooler. It measures not only the inlet and outlet temperature of the coolant, but also the speed at which the fluid flows through the coolers.

Shipsonics own Ultratester
The Shipsonic Ultratester In line with the ongoing development of our ultrasonic antifouling, we are also developing equipment to test...

Flow measurements prove effectiveness
The Flexim FLUXUS F601 The ultimate goal of antifouling on box coolers is to ensure cooling is consistent. That's why Shipsonic does...

Testing ultrasonic antifouling scientifically by counting mussel spat
We build a test set-up for ultrasonic antifouling. We count and measure the algae larvae. The figures prove that our antifouling is highly

How to make steel vibrate?
This is a laser-vibrometer at the Technical University of Lappeenranta, Finland. Shipsonic sponsors a research project here.
