BOURBON LIBERTY 222 is an offshore supply vessel, built in 2010 by DAYANG SHIPBUILDING - YANGZHOU, CHINA. Currently sailing under the flag of Luxembourg. It's gross tonnage is 1733 tons.
The ultrasonic anti-fouling system (USAF) on 4 box coolers was installed and commissioned at the MultiMarine Services yard in Limassol.
The system consists of 2 control units and 11 transducers (TD) 80Watt/20,5 kHz/IP76, and 11 transducers (TD) 100Watt/28 kHz/IP76. Control units: MDP10-8 and MDP20-14
Testing
All control units were visually inspected on working of cooling fans and fans free of obstruction, fuses and LEDs.
The actual signal going to the transducers was tested by connecting the Shipsonic signal
tester to each individual outgoing connector (22 x).
Also temperature sensors were installed on in- and outgoing cooling liquid piping.
All transducers were activated one by one for testing.
Ultrasonic sound pressure measurement was carried out with the Shipsonic Ultratester
