PortXL invited me to pitch for Superconnectors. It was a totally different format from normal startup pitches: just 2 minutes to explain what your company needs. Then five minutes for an extremely well-connected audience to rain bids on you for introductions to all the big shipping companies. Last week Chiel visited a certain vessel in Norway to replace one transducer (got damaged when changing the swing set box-coolers), and measuring the SPL : sound pressure level for each of the transducers. On the video an observant person can see him working in one of the confined spaces where the box-coolers are. The measurements for all transducers were good: more than 10 decibels over the threshold which Shipsonic considers sufficient to guarantee effectiveness of the ultr

TT's latest post was already a month ago, from Singapore. But really all these travelling transducers are going all over the place, but we so often forget to take the pictures. Now Shipsonic was at the Color Hybrid, Sandefjord-Strömstad Norway - Sweden crossing. We did a few monitoring and measurements tasks.
